Project photos for the conversion of the five-bed ensuite HMO at Bury Road, Bolton.
(only a few photos)
This project completed in January 2017.

Rip-out starts
This property needed taking right back to the original lath and plaster in many places (notice the slats to the left of the picture).

Rearranging exterior access
We blocked off the doorway shown in this photo as it became an en-suite which spanned the width of the room.
We opened up another doorway adjacent to it.

Preparing for DPC
The walls have been stripped back to brick up to 1.2m to allow for a new damp proof course to be fitted, complete with 30 year guarantee.

Removal of an old chimney
A horrible job, with 100+ years of soot! Doing it opens up another couple square meters of floor space however.

New Front Door fitted

Finished kitchen
Complete with dressing items.
We lost a number of the photos for this project, hence the lack of walk-through progression that you will see on other projects.

Additional dining area
We build a small dining area for the kitchen with an incorporated seat.

Typical en-suite
Supplied with contemporary ‘square’ bathroom furniture.

Shower cubicle
With upgraded tiles.

Landing area

Garden decking

New fence and gate
Helps to maintain an overall professional look and feel to the property.
